Hello! I’m CrystalKittyCat, Kitty, or as all the legal things say, Kristin–owner of Faire Treasures and writer of the Faire Treasures Codicellus. I began Faire 
Treasures as a little side project while I was finishing up my BFA in photography at Texas State University. Although my degree is in photography, I love to design and create clothing and accessories. My mom taught me most of what I know about sewing, although I didn’t really take interest when she first tried to teach me. When I moved away from home to finish college, I asked to take her old sewing machine with me. Since then I’ve been sewing clothing and costume pieces for myself, my family, and to list in my shop on Etsy.
